Description

The engine support MW 8 is the universal base for friction belt transmissions of motors from 7.5 to 45 kW.

Depending on the number of belts and the type of belt, the base can be adjusted continuously. This engine base MW 8 is equipped with two integrated axle stabilizers, a robust and maintenance-free prestressing device and a screw head holder for a simple and safe installation by a single person. The mounting holes for all engine crankcase sizes (IEC 160M-225M/NEMA of 254T-365T) are already provided.

The engine support MW 10 is designed for belt drives with motors of 37 kW to 200 kW power.

As specified by the belt manufacturer, the engine base MW-10 can be continuously regulated via a single maintenance-free pretension unit equipped with ball axial bearings. Engine and base plate mounting holes are identical and suitable for all EC 2055-IEC 315M and NEMA 404T-NEMA 447T engine enclosure sizes.

The use of engine base MW 8 or MW 10ensures optimum tension of the belt at any time. This means minimum maintenance and maximum efficiency thanks to perfect traction.
