A specialist in power transmission, DOM was founded in 1993 by Bernard DAUM in Lyon.

For decades, the company has developed a recognized know-how in the design, production and distribution of mechanical components and power transmission organs for chains and belts.

The small family business quickly becomes a SME with strong growth and employs 15 employees.

In 2002, Romain DAUM took over the company. DOM now stands as a major player in the power transmission market.

Present in 27 countries, the company manufactures, markets and offers its customers ever more innovative products.

Today

In 2018, the company moved to new, more spacious premises near Toulon on the commune of Pradet. DOM then has a storage space of 1000 m2 with more than 8,000 references in stock.

Thanks to its study office, DOM offers solutions tailored to each issue. Customized products are developed through a machining workshop to retouch the standard components according to the specific needs of each customer.

New production facility

In 2024, the company relocates its production to Le Pradet. A machining workshop covering more than 200m² was set up at the head office.

A new, range of machinery enabled standard components to be modified according to each customer's specific requirements.

This general mechanics and machining workshop, which produced parts to specification (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium), operated 24 hours a day.
